Kitchen Music Recording Studio
I have a one of a kind music recording studio in my kitchen! This video shows me recording a click track, showing a close up of the studio, and then playing the keyboard to the click track. Comment please - it's very easy to sit and record quickly without any additional set up. I own guitars and amps not shown in this video. Second Person - Recording "The Elements"
In May 2007 Second Person started recording a set of songs that would become their second studio release: The Elements. The band were joined by a number of guest musicians such as world-renowned trumpeter Guy Barker and UK ccratch/turntable champion DJ Muzzell.
The record was funded entirely by 750 fans, who raised $50,000 on Sellaband.com. It is now out iTunes, Amazon and in most good record stores. [

Boosey & Hawkes wire recorder
This machine does not pre date the paper tape and steel band recorder but the wire recorder was the first marketed magnetic recording device available. The recorder has many drawbacks such as wire breaking, snagging and loss of frequency response which is already very poor. [
